Risus respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.
Users are responsible for ensuring that prompts, uploaded materials, AI-generated or AI-edited outputs, music, images, videos, and other content they use or publish do not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights. AI generation does not guarantee ownership or permission to use an output.
If you believe content on Risus infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, submit a written notice to legal@risus.io.
U.S. copyright notices should be directed to the DMCA agent identified on this page once the agent's full registered contact details are published.
A valid notice should include:
Incomplete notices may delay review. Submitting a knowingly false notice may carry legal consequences and may result in restrictions on your account.
Risus may remove or disable access to reported content while a claim is reviewed, notify the affected user, preserve relevant records, and forward the notice or relevant details as permitted by law.
If you believe material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to legal@risus.io containing:
Risus may forward a valid counter-notification to the original complainant. Where the U.S. DMCA applies, Risus may restore the material after the legally applicable waiting period, generally 10 to 14 business days, unless the complainant notifies Risus that a court action has been filed or restoration is otherwise prohibited.
Risus reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat intellectual property infringers or users who misuse the intellectual property reporting process.
AI generation does not guarantee ownership of, or permission to use, an output. You remain responsible for the prompts you submit, the material you upload as input, and any AI-generated or AI-edited output you publish or send.
Do not use AI features to reproduce protected works, imitate a person's likeness or voice without consent, or bypass licensing requirements. Additional AI rules are explained in the AI-Generated Content Policy.
The Service, including software, design, branding, logos, graphics, trademarks, and other materials, belongs to Risus or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with written permission.
